Little Free Libraries:

A Little Free Library  is a (usually house-shaped) box placed in a public location, and filled with books that anyone can take for free. In the same way, anyone can add their own books to a library.

The Little Free Libraries in Rochester have been installed by neighborhood associations,  homeowners, public libraries, and community houses, but the majority have been installed by The Snowball Effect, a “group that plans and completes fun, social, manageable sized projects, collectively helping to build a better Rochester” You can get involved at their Facebook group!
